‘Middle child syndrome’ hurting VET…

In an implicit criticism of the federal government’s training and skills agenda, business will today demand a comprehensive review of the “forgotten middle child of education”.

A Committee for Economic Development of Australia report, to be released in Melbourne, says the vocational education sector has been trashed by rogue operators, with plunging enrolments and a disconnect from the needs of employers creating serious issues for industry.
